Reproduction Watch Chains for Women

I have posted information on watch chains and chatelaines (or equipage) in the past, but wanted to share some of the most recent I have created.  These are wonderful reproductions that would work well in a couple of centuries - the 18th and 19th.  They are available in my Etsy shop - you can see more of my reproduction and historically inspired work on my Pinterest boards.

The inspiration portrait is taken from the book, Costume Close-Up by Linda Baumgarden of a French print.

Addendum added 16 May 2016  - The New and Complete Dictionary of the English Language ...: To which is Prefixed, a Comprehensive Grammar, Volume 1, by John Ash dated 1775
“Equipage (from equip) - furniture for an horseman;  a carriage for state’  attendance; retinue; accoutrements.”
“Equip (from the French equipper) – to furnish, to fit out, to dress, to accouter.”
“Equipment (from equip) – the act of equipping; accoutrement; equipage.”
